“If you have a good man, hold onto him. And when I say a good man, I don't mean a man who’s “perfect” but a man who tries. He’s hardworking, will go above and beyond to make you happy, imperfect but is working towards being a better man, he’s not out here making you look dumb….”

Today, we honor a true gem of a man—our dear Uncle Ben (Bro. Ben) as we affectionately called you.
Bro. Ben was more than just an uncle, He was our father’s friend, he was a father figure, a quiet guardian, and a consistent presence in our lives. We accepted him into the Aryee family. Whenever our father went on vacation, Bro. Ben would naturally step in, checking on us, making sure we were okay. He never missed a beat. He visited our relatives in La and brought us a report on his return. When he visited Ghana.
If your car didn’t move for a day or two, you could expect a call from Bro. Ben: “Is everything alright?" he would ask, because he noticed, he cared, and he always showed up.
He was the definition of a true gentleman full of class in his own unique way, wisdom, and genuine concern for others. Never loud, but always heard. Never boastful, but his actions spoke volumes. Bro. Ben made sure no one around him ever felt alone. His presence brought peace, and his absence now leaves a quiet ache in our hearts and a vacuum that can never be filled. But we thank God for his life, his love, and the legacy of kindness he left behind.
Well done, Bro. Ben. Heaven is richer today because it received a faithful servant. You may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts. We missed your unique knock on our door and when we asked, “ofaine bo namɔ, your response was “mi Aryee-Ababio”. We know you are no longer in pain but resting peacefully in the bosom of your maker.
Stay strong, dear family. May God wrap you in comfort and fill your hearts with peace. Bro. Ben’s love lives on through you. Keep the light burning, and let your life continue to reflect the beauty he shared with us all. Remember the good times, the laughter, the jokes and the fun you had together.
God is near to the brokenhearted. He will not leave you.
